Brand your page: logo, name, photos

Logo, name and description, photos of your place and a link to your Google reviews — what makes the page yours.

7 min read Updated 2026-07-26

Four sections turn the stock booking page into yours: Identity (logo, name, about), Promo bar (a short line at the top), Photos and Links (social profiles). They all live in one place — Setup → Public site, the Site settings tab — and none of it needs a developer. Styles, colours and fonts are a separate topic: Mood & theme.

Remember: there is no Save button here. Text fields commit when you leave the field (click away or press Tab); a file upload saves immediately. The pill in the top right shows Saving…, then Saved.

1. The «Identity» section — logo, name, about

The section hint reads: “Logo, name and a short description — what makes the page yours.” There are three fields.

The Identity section: the logo slot on the left, Name and About on the right
The Identity section: the logo slot on the left, Name and About on the right

A square slot on the left. Drop a file on it or click to pick one from your computer.

WhatValue
FormatsPNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF
Maximum size5 MB per file
Recommended shapesquare (1:1) — the slot is square and crops the rest
If left emptythe first letters of the board name are shown instead

The logo appears in the top-left corner of the public page, inside the printable QR card, and in the preview panel. Its shape (circle, rounded or square) is set separately under Components → Logo shape.

Once uploaded, replace and remove pills appear over the slot. If the file is too big you get File exceeds the maximum size; if the format isn’t allowed — This file type isn’t allowed.

Name

The page headline. The placeholder reads Your salon’s name.

  • This is the board’s own name — changing it here changes it in the admin too.
  • It appears as the main heading on the public page, in the subject of every client email (“How was your visit to …?”) and on the QR card.
  • An empty name is not saved. If you clear the field and leave it, the old name comes back. That’s deliberate — a nameless page is unusable.

About

A larger box for one sentence. The placeholder is One line about your place.

  • It renders under the name, as a subtitle.
  • It may be empty — then there simply is no subtitle.
  • Keep it short. On a phone a long paragraph eats the screen before the client ever reaches your services.

Tip: a good logo, one sentence and one strong photo build far more trust than three paragraphs of copy. Start there.

2. The «Promo bar» section — one line at the very top

The section is called Promo bar and has a single field, Text. Its hint is explicit: “A short notice in a bar at the top. Empty = no bar.”

The placeholder shows the exact genre: e.g. Closed Aug 1–5 · New: hot-towel shave.

How to use it:

  1. Click into the Text field.
  2. Write one short line — news, a schedule change, a seasonal offer.
  3. Click outside the field. The bar appears in the preview on the right straight away.
  4. To remove it, clear the text and leave the field.

What the bar does NOT do:

  • No button, link, image or date range. Text only.
  • No targeting — everyone sees it.
  • It never switches itself off on a date — you turn it off.

If you need something bigger — an image, a button, a promo code, a start and end date, an audience — that’s not the bar, that’s a banner. See Create a banner.

3. The «Photos» section — up to 12 shots

The hint reads: “Photos of your place — they make it feel personal.” Under it sits a horizontal rail of tiles and a counter, N / 12 photos.

The short version:

  1. Click the last tile, labelled Add photo (or drop files onto the rail).
  2. You can pick several files at once — they upload one after another, in the order you picked them.
  3. Every tile carries a number top-left and a remove button top-right.

The details — what to shoot, how the gallery is ordered and how to change that order — are in Page photos & gallery.

The hint reads: “Social profiles and website. Address & phone are set in Locations.” Six fields in two columns:

Facebookfacebook.com/…
TikTok@handle
Websitehttps://…
WhatsApp+359 88 123 4567
Viber+359 88 123 4567
  • Every field is optional. Empty ones simply don’t render.
  • The fields commit when you leave any one of them — the whole group saves together.
  • There is no format validation. A wrong address means the public link goes to the wrong place — check it with Open page.

Careful: the phone numbers here are for messenger links, not for calling. The phone people call and the venue’s street address are set in Catalog → Locations — see Location address & map.

The section list also contains Reviews, but it does NOT hold the reviews themselves. It has one field — Google review link — with the placeholder https://g.page/r/…/review.

What the link does: when one of your clients leaves a rating of 4 stars or more, after the review is recorded they are invited to post it on Google too. A lower rating stays with you only. An empty field = no Google button at all.

Under the field there’s a How do I find this link? link that opens Google’s own help page.

The reviews themselves — reading, hiding, adding by hand — live on a different page: Setup → Reviews. That’s exactly what the hint says: “View & moderate reviews in the Reviews section.” See Customer reviews.

6. Check the result

  1. Look at the preview on the right in Mobile mode — that’s how most people will see the page.
  2. Switch to Desktop. A long name and a big logo read differently there.
  3. Press Open page and inspect the real page in a new tab.
  4. Open the same link on your own phone.
